The Sea Girt Police Department has 11 full time police officers.  We are further supplemented with 7 part time police officers.   During the summer months our department brings on several other Class I Special Officers who patrol the beach area.

The town of Sea Girt is 1.05 square miles.

How can I get a department uniform patch?

Unfortunately we are unable to participate in a patch trading program due to the large number of requests for patches we get each day.   Please do not send e-mails requesting a department patch to be sent to you or to someone else.  We will not be able to answer any of these requests.

How can I become a Sea Girt Police Officer?

Due to the size of our agency, hiring of full time police officers is rare.  You are welcome to submit a resume to the Chief of Police for his consideration for future hiring.  If you are interested in working as a part time police officer please submit your resume to Captain Conway in March for his consideration.
